With over 20 years of expertise in reading remediation, we know how to help! (Orton-Gillingham / Empower / Corrective Reading) Our programs are run by our expert teachers, with ongoing check-ins with our literacy specialists to discuss progress of each child. Your child will work in-person or online with a qualified reading tutor, who will work with our proven reading intervention program. We don't just 'try a few things to see what works'; we do ongoing assessment, and we target the skills your child needs to focus on. |
Pathway to Success
Step 1: Assess We do an in-depth assessment to ensure we target the exact skills your child needs to start with. We will provide an initial detailed report to you, and ongoing assessment and reporting of your child's progress. Once the assessment is complete, we know exactly where to start. Step 2: Plan Our team will look at the results of the initial assessment and together, we determine the starting point for your child. Our intervention program has various starting points, so your child starts at the right place. Step 3: Implement Targeted Instruction We build the program around your child, and use research informed resources only. We will do ongoing assessment, to ensure that we are continuing in the right place and going at the right pace for your child. We don't move ahead to the next concept until your child gets it! We will also provide resources for daily independent practice for your child to do at home. |

Expert Math Teachers!
Math moves quickly, and without the foundational skills (subitizing, fractions, number sense), it makes it difficult to move into more complex or abstract concepts. Sometimes, kids just need us to slow down a bit, and allow them the space and time to really understand the concepts well before moving on. Our programs are run by our expert teachers, who really know how to teach math (and who really love it too!) Your child will work in-person or online with a qualified reading tutor, who will work with our proven math curriculum. We don't just 'try a few things to see what works'; we do ongoing assessment, and we target the skills your child needs to focus on. We focus on the basics, to get your child to a place, where they feel confident in math, and able to take on new challenges. |

Step 3: Implement Targeted Instruction We build the program around your child, building on their math knowledge one piece at a time. We will do ongoing assessment, to ensure that we are always targeting the right concepts! We don't move ahead to the next concept until your child gets it! We will also provide resources for daily independent practice for your child to do at home. |
