Elementary

  • Reading -  our team of reading specialists (all certified teachers) are highly trained in remediating reading difficulties.  ​

  • Math - we love to teach math!  Our math experts will make learning math systematic, easily understood and fun!
  • French - our French tutors are fluent in French and love to teach it!
  • Homework support - we can help your child get and stay organized and on top of homework and assignments that come up.

High School

Reading Groups

We have reading groups!  Indigo specializes in remediating reading difficulties.  Groups are a great way to keep the cost down, and to get support 3-4 times per week.  We have a structured scaffolded program, where kids will work on remediating reading ~ step by step.

Students will be assessed and placed in a group of their same-age peers and ability level.  Ongoing assessment and check-ins with our Director are part of this amazing program!

Technology Club  (3-6 students per group)
​Learn how to use technology to make your school work easier!
Ideal for kids with difficulties in reading, writing, organization, planning or study skills.
Grades 4-6 / Grades 7-9

Reading  (3-6 students per group)
Struggling with reading? This program will teach you strategies for figuring out unknown words (decoding). You will develop a ‘toolkit” of reading strategies to take home with you!
Grades 1-3 / Grades 4-6

Science Club  (3-6 students per group)
Come and do fun and cool Science experiments! We promise lots of excitement!  (Extra materials fee of $30)
Grades 1-3 / Grades 4-6

Mindfulness /Yoga for Students (6-8 students per group)
Do you have a busy brain that is hard to settle? Do you find it hard to pay attention and concentrate when needed? Then this group is perfect for you! Come learn some mindfulness techniques that we can use in our everyday lives to help live calmer ad happier.
Grades 1-3 / Grades 4-6 / Grade 7-9 / Grades 10-12

Math Club  (3-6 students per group)
Learn tricks and tips for doing math quickly in your head!  You will explore strategies for solving problems, discuss different solutions, and get excited about math!
Ideal for students who lack confidence in math, and who struggle with problem solving and communicating their thinking in math.

Programming Club  (3-6 students per group)
Learn coding and programming with our technology and programming experts!
Ideal for kids who are interested in computers and software.

Writing Club  (3-6 students per group)
Come and learn how to write great stories!  We will focus on pre-writing (including how to brainstorm ideas), drafting, editing and publishing our writing.

New to Canada?  Learn conversation skills and important vocabulary and make some new friends!

Learn the best way to study for your learning style! We will introduce many tried and true strategies to help you learn how to study. You will also learn tips and tricks for getting and staying organized!

Improve your acting skills, gain confidence and make new friends! There will be drama games every week, while also working towards a final performance.
